As our incubator and accelerator portfolio expands, we are strengthening our Project Management Department to ensure high-quality programme delivery and effective portfolio coordination.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Management Assistant to support the Portfolio Project Manager for the Incubator and Accelerator portfolio. This role is designed as a developmental position, with a clear pathway to grow into a Project Manager responsible for managing incubation and acceleration programmes.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior project managers, venture builders, and programme teams to support coordination, reporting, and delivery across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Programme Support 

  • Supporting coordination and delivery of incubation and accelerator programmes 

  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and tracking across multiple initiatives 

  • Monitoring activities, milestones, and deliverables to support timely execution 

  • Supporting organisation of programme sessions, workshops, and events 

Reporting & Documentation 

  • Assisting with preparation of project plans, trackers, and work schedules 

  • Supporting drafting of progress reports, summaries, and portfolio updates 

  • Maintaining organised project documentation and records 

  • Supporting monitoring and evaluation data collection 

Stakeholder Coordination 

  • Supporting communication between project managers, venture builders, and partners 

  • Liaising with programme participants and service providers as required 

  • Supporting follow-ups and coordination across internal teams 

Departmental & Portfolio Support 

  • Providing operational support to the Portfolio Project Manager 

  • Assisting in improving project management tools, templates, and processes 

  • Supporting cross-programme coordination within the Incubator & Accelerator portfolio 

Desired Skills & Competencies 

We are looking for someone who demonstrates: 

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines 

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills 

  • A proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset 

  • Interest in entrepreneurship, incubation, and venture building 

Technical Skills 

  • Basic understanding of project management concepts 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace 

  • Strong documentation and reporting skills 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Management, or related field 

  • 1–3 years experience in project coordination, administration, or program support (preferred) 

  • Experience in incubation, acceleration, entrepreneurship, or development program is an advantage
