What is ElevateNamBiz

ElevateNamBiz! is a 14-month flagship initiative designed to unlock the potential of Namibia’s micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector by providing practical, targeted support across all stages of business development. The program seeks to strengthen the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through two complementary cohorts; nurturing emerging entrepreneurs while accelerating the growth of established MSMEs.​

About the Programme

Project 1000 focuses on building a future-ready workforce by providing practical digital skills training and connecting participants to real work opportunities in data services industry.

The programme is designed to:

  1. Reduce youth unemployment in Namibia

  2. Build digital and technical skills for the global economy

  3. Create sustainable remote work opportunities

  4. Position Namibia as a competitive provider of digital services

 

Participants receive structured training and are supported in accessing paid project-based work opportunities after completing the program.

Who Can Apply?

Project 1000 is open to unemployed youth aged 18–35, including:

  • Early school-leavers

  • Unemployed graduates (especially STEM fields)

  • Young people with basic or intermediate tech skills

  • Aspiring freelancers and self-employed digital workers

 

 

Participants should have:

  1. Basic computer literacy

  2. Motivation to learn and work

  3. Commitment to complete training and placement opportunities

Applications are reviewed in cohorts, and selected candidates will be contacted with further instructions.
