Impact Tank is implementing a project that aims to strengthen and support high-potential community-based social

enterprises that tackle pressing social and environmental challenges through sustainable business models, by

providing tailored business advisory, mentorship, and venture-building support.

Position Overview

Impact Tank is looking for final-year or postgraduate students who are passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and enterprise development. The interns will assist Impact Tank’s advisory team in delivering capacity-building and mentorship to small business owners.

Interns will work under the guidance of Impact Tank’s Project

Management team and Senior business advisor.

Monthly stipend of N$ 2000.00

Key Responsibilities

Interns will work alongside Impact Tank’s business advisory team to:

Assisting in entrepreneurship and business modelling, including ideation, business plan drafting, market research, and financial analysis.
Supporting marketing and digital strategy development for small businesses, including branding, content creation, and social media management.
Helping with financial management support, such as bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash flow tracking.
Participating in mentorship sessions, site visits, and training facilitation for entrepreneurs.
Assisting with documentation — drafting reports, investment memos, and progress summaries.
Coordinating logistics for technical training, mentorship sessions, and stakeholder engagement.
Conduct enterprise assessments and contribute to business improvement plans.
Support advisory sessions, mentorship, and capacity-building workshops for entrepreneurs.
Assist with data collection, reporting, and documentation of project activities.
Participate in site visits and business supervision exercises.
Contribute to training facilitation and logistics for technical upskilling sessions.

Desired Skills & Competencies

Entrepreneurship & Business Advisory

Business ideation and business model design
Revenue stream analysis and scalability assessment
Market research, competitive analysis and opportunity identification
Business registration and compliance support
Mentorship coordination and stakeholder engagement
Budget review and quotation sourcing
Drafting business plans
Sourcing quotations, budgeting, and preparing advisory documents.
Report writing

Financial Management & Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Financial analysis and investment appraisal
Designing or using financial templates and digital bookkeeping systems
Understanding of tax planning and financial compliance
Drafting financial sections of business plans
Supporting training facilitation in financial literacy.

Marketing & Communications

Developing digital marketing strategies and content plans.
Social media management and performance analytics.
Drafting marketing plans and promotional materials.
Copywriting and content creation for online platforms.
